Delta hated the show ring with a passion however she certainly kept us entertained in a multitude of other ways. She has an amasing interlect that has certainly amused us over the years with her increditable problem solving abilities and true thinking Dobermann temperament!

She loved to track and her passion often left us with bleeding fingers as the tracking lead reached its full length and bruised legs from twigs and brush that was unavoidable as she would set off on a track at a blistering speed never missing a beat.

At Play...

It was nothing to see Delta spring into the air and snatch a bird as it swooped by or be greeted proudly at the back door by Delta with a possum her mouth and her tail wagging at a hundred miles an hour. She is certainly an amazing athlete,  but most of all Delta in true doberman style is a loyal and fierce family protector. No one could get even remotely near when she is on guard.

You could never put one over Delta and she often was the centre of attention with her party tricks and her uncanny problem solving techniques and ability.

Tracking

Delta loved to track.....

Even though personal commitments kept us away from the tracking trials we often set tracks throughout local parks and areas so Delta could continue to show us that amazing  nose and her incredible determination.

Delta - 2015 - 12 years young

These days Delta prefers to deservedly lay in the sun and enjoy her twilight years although she has never lost her sharpness of mind and rare ability to keep control of every situation.  She is still as fast and agile as she was in her younger years.
